F.M.A.C KARATE
WHAT IS KARATE?
Karate, meaning "empty hand" features punching, kicking, knee/elbow strikes and open-handed block techniques. There are many components to modern Karate training including Kata (forms) and Kumite (sparring). It is an art, self-defence sport and means of fitness. Weapons work is also an important part of the Seniors group training. Karate is also about building a proper attitude including perseverance, fearlessness, virtue and leadership skills.
